Impasto for oil paints. A thick oil-based paste, suitable for increasing the density of oil paints and creating embossing effects. With a brush or spatula you can create expressive strokes and a thick plastic texture. Mix directly with oil paints up to a ratio of 1:5. Oil paint is thicker and holds its shape better when mixed with impasto. Impasto can also be used alone and repainted afterwards.
