The Zoom G2X Four is a floor multi-effects processor built around 22 amp/cabinet models powered by Multi-Layer IR technology. It ships with 79 effects, 250 factory presets, and a built-in expression pedal for real-time control over volume, wah, and pitch. Players can route up to 7 effects simultaneously, edit patches on the fly via cross-key navigation, and record directly through the USB-C audio interface.

Multi-Layer IR Amp Modeling and 32-bit Signal Path

Each amp model blends impulse responses captured from iconic cabinets at three different volume levels, so the response shifts dynamically with playing intensity. Internal processing runs at 32-bit resolution, and the USB-C port doubles as a 2-in/2-out audio interface at up to 44.1 kHz. The 256x128 dot matrix LCD keeps patch names and parameter values readable on a dimly lit stage.

The effects engine covers traditional and boutique tones from spring reverbs to extreme distortions, modulation, and wah.
