As a result, the instrument provides the same full-scale playing experience you are used to on an instrument that is 20 percent shorter and 36 percent lighter than a typical full size acoustic guitar. It is also better balanced than other travel acoustics, yet retains the full size neck you are used to. In addition, the modified traditional bracing pattern creates more volume and presence can be expected from a travel-sized instrument. The guitar also includes a Shadow Nanoflex pickup and a custom preamp from Shadow with an incredibly sound – just like the sound of a full-sized guitar. The preamp works through headphones and features a built-in chromatic tuner plus a 3.5mm aux-in for jamming with the mp3 player. The guitar features a solid spruce top combined with mahogany back and side, and a set-in mahogany neck fitted with an ebonized rosewood fingerboard with 20 jumbo frets and vintage clay dot inlays.
