The Cocktail-JAM shell kit is comprised of a 6x16 bass drum powering the low end, while two toms (5x10 and 5.5x14) add melodic flavor and a punchy 5x12 snare drum keeps a rock-solid backbeat. Silverstar's 100% Birch shells, Sound Arc Hoop and low-mass lugs, are acclaimed for their punchy, focused, and full-bodied sound whether on stage or in the studio. The bass drum is equipped with an Evans EMAD bass drum head. This single-ply, 10mm film head gives a fatter, louder, punchier bass drum sound with improved resonance. The innovative Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system lets you customize attack and focus from the outside, without the hassle of removing and replacing the drumhead. The Sound Arc Hoop, has an inward curve to help improve sound projection considerably.
