The Slate Digital ML-2A is a modern small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for maximum accuracy, flexibility and professional stereo recording. Thanks to integration with the Virtual Microphone System (VMS), it offers access to a wide library of emulations of iconic microphones - all in one compact solution.

The microphone uses a precision small-diaphragm capsule with a cardioid characteristic, which ensures detailed, clear and natural recording. It is an ideal choice for acoustic instruments, drum overheads, piano or orchestral instruments, where faithful stereo reproduction is important.

The biggest advantage of the ML-2A is its modeling system - after connecting to the VMS plugin, you get up to 27 emulations of legendary microphones, which you can change even after recording. In addition, you can adjust the proximity effect, sound color or combine different models for maximum creativity.

The microphones are delivered as a factory-paired stereo set, which guarantees precise phase matching and a consistent stereo image. Thanks to the PAD switch (-20 dB) and the high-pass filter (80 Hz), they can handle extremely loud sources up to 156 dB SPL without distortion.

Of course, they are powered by 48 V phantom power and have a professional XLR connection. The package includes a stereo bar, brackets and a transport case for easy use in the studio and in the field.
