The RockBag Fingerboard Saver is a protection that preserves the fingerboard while working on the frets. Faster, easier and less laborious than tape, it maximizes safety and convenience when working with bundles. While filing, polishing and working the fret crowns, place it over the fret to be worked to protect the fingerboard from scratches and dents. Thanks to its slim-fit design, it can be used on all guitars and basses as well as banjos with common scale lengths. The fingerboard saver fits between all frets on guitars, banjos and basses, as well as between many ukulele and mandolin frets. Its indentations at both ends make it possible to fix it to the neck with the enclosed rubber bands, so that the fingerboard saver stays securely in place while fret processing and you can concentrate on the details of the fret work. Made of spring-hard 0.2 mm (0.008 ”) thick stainless steel, the fingerboard saver is flexible and robust at the same time and adapts to any fingerboard radius. The fingerboard saver is available with three slot sizes for thin, medium and jumbo frets. It is the perfect little helper for fret processing on almost any instrument.
