This kit is perfect for recording of rehearsals and performances in schools, churches, and studios. The heart of the kit is the AudioBox USB – a simple, handy little audio/MIDI interface that has just the right features for basic recording needs, including two combo mic/instrument inputs and zero-latency monitoring. Bus-powered, built to travel, compatible with most recording software for Mac and Windows, and equipped with high-performance Class A microphone preamplifiers and professional-quality, 24-bit converters, it makes recording super-easy. The included Studio One 3 Artist further allows user to work quickly and stay focused on the inspiration, offering unlimited tracks and plug-ins, and delivering features not normally found in entry-level DAWs. Included is also the Studio Magic plug-in suite that brings extended sonic functionality into Studio One. The kit further features a stereo pair of multi-purpose, small-diaphragm condenser PS626 microphones that offer a cardioid (heart-shaped) pickup pattern in a slender “pencil”-type design that is particularly good for capturing subtle details when stereo-miking acoustic instruments. The kit also includes a pair of 4.6m long microphone cables , cloth carrying bags and an adjustable mounting bracket that maintains the correct microphone angle for optimal X/Y stereo recording. Included PreSonus’ high-definition HD7 headphones take advantage of a patented, semi-open sound chamber and high-resolution neodymium drivers to deliver exceptionally deep low frequencies with a balanced and yet powerful bass punch. Accurate midrange and extended treble response allow for picking out the fine details of a mix or track. The lightweight, ergonomic design adjusts to any head size, offering a comfortable listening experience during long recording sessions. The headphones also come equipped with a 2.5m long single-side cable.
