Malik Izaak Taylor, better known as Phife Dawg, was a Trinidadian-American rapper and a key member of A Tribe Called Quest alongside Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and briefly Jarobi White. Nicknamed the "Five-Foot Assassin" for his height of five feet three inches, Phife Dawg was known for his witty lyrics and energetic presence, helping to shape the sound of hip-hop in the 1990s.
