The Pfaff blind stitch foot is an optional accessory that can be purchased for Pfaff sewing machines. The foot is used to sew invisible hems.

The foot is suitable for sewing machines of group D E G J K L with the IDT system.

Use of the blind stitch foot for Pfaff sewing machines:
1. Attach the blind stitch foot.
2. Fold the edge inwards to the width of the hem.
3. Unfold the hem again so that the edge of the hem protrudes about 1 cm.
4. Lay the fabric so that the edge of the folded hem goes along the red guide.
5. Adjust the needle penetration into the lintel with the needle position and stitch width.

The open overlock stitch sews the seam and encircles the edge at the same time. Perfect for flexible fabrics. This stitch is more flexible than normal seams, is very durable and sews quickly. Tip: When sewing, guide the edge of the fabric along the metal pin of the foot. This creates seams over the pin and the fabric does not curl.

Note: If you use a stitch other than the one recommended, first move the needle by turning the handwheel to make sure that the needle does not strike the metal pin in the foot.
