Nektar Impact GX61 — 61-Key USB MIDI Controller

The Nektar Impact GX61 is a compact 61-note MIDI controller keyboard for producers and composers. It pairs 5 full octaves of velocity-sensitive keys with Nektar's DAW integration that maps transport, track navigation and mixer volume to the hardware — ideal for home-studio producers who need expressive keys, hands-on transport control and plug-and-play setup across macOS, Windows and iOS.

What Sets This Controller Apart

Unlike generic USB controllers, the GX61 ships with Nektar DAW Integration pre-mapped for Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Reason, Reaper, Bitwig 8-Track and more, plus Bitwig 8-Track software.

Velocity-Sensitive Keybed

The full-sized keybed covers 5 octaves for two-handed playing, with adjustable velocity curves.

• Keys: 61 full-sized velocity-sensitive keys — 5 octaves for two-handed parts
• Velocity Curves: 4 curves + 3 fixed — match response to piano, synth or pad playing
• Pitch Bend: Yes (dedicated wheel) — expressive bends without menu diving

DAW Integration & USB

Eight transport buttons deliver 14 assignable MIDI controls. The class-compliant USB connection means instant recognition on macOS, Windows and iOS without drivers.

• Transport Buttons: 7 with secondary level (14 MIDI controls) — record, play, stop, track navigation
• DAW Integration: Pre-mapped for Bitwig, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Reason, Reaper
• Power: USB bus-powered (500 mA), not battery powered — single cable, stable performance
