Compact single-channel all-tube guitar combo amplifier from CUB series with total output of 15 W RMS that features a simple layout with focus on great, vintage tone, without complicated controls or excessive volume. It delivers a pure tube tone from a pair of EL85 power tubes, coupled with three ECC83 pre-amp tubes to go from warm cleans to rich crunch and providing the classic tones. In addition, a less than 1 watt power option can be used, giving the same power tube tone at lower volume levels. A rich-sounding reverb adds ambiance to the classic tone and can be used with footswitch (Laney FS-1, not included). The control layout is simple, including Volume and Tone controls, Gain control and 3-band EQ with Treble, Middle and Bass controls. The amplifier is fitted with a 12” HH driver that was custom-designed exclusively for Laney, providing the perfect loudspeaker pairing to the amplifier. It further provides a FX loop and extension out socket for connection to a larger cabinet (8 or 16 Ohm).
