Multi-channel signal processor that features 8 times more processing power of the previous model H8000, full front panel controls and a huge array of I/O options, as well as network capability. It is equipped with 4 quad cores ARM processors which serve as 16 DSP engines and provides 8 channels of pristine analogue audio I/O, AES/EBU, ADAT and 16 USB audio channels. It also provides optional audio network connection for MADI, Dante, Ravenna and more. This multichannel processing power makes it a suitable platform for surround sound and for processing several tracks of audio simultaneously. In addition, the unit introduces the concept of FX Chains which allows users to connect any set of four effects with flexible routing. FX Chains can be created to act as a voice channel, a guitar 'pedal board', a modular synth with effects, etc. The unit's remote control application, emote, is available as a stand-alone application for Mac and PC and as a plug-in for ProTools, AU and VST. This model can be controlled via the front panel controls, using the emote software or as a DAW plug-in.
