Its set mahogany neck is also bound and has a comfortable V contour and an ebony fingerboard with 22 frets and abolone dot inlays. Grover tuners and a tune-o-matic string-through bridge offer dependable intonation and improved sustain. Electronics consist of DiMarzio Super Distortion bridge & neck pickups wired to a 3-way switch with individual Volume controls and a single Master Tone. Dean Guitars' new Chicago series pays homage to the original Dean guitars produced in Chicago and introduced at the 1977 NAMM show.
