Behringer Eurolive B205D — 150W Personal PA/Monitor Speaker

The Behringer Eurolive B205D is an ultra-compact 150W active PA and stage monitor for performers who require clear, personal sound without transporting a full speaker rig. At just 3.2 kg and shaped to perch on a mic stand or rest on the stage floor, it delivers focused monitoring for vocalists, keyboardists, drummers and small ensemble presentations. Solo performers and small bands looking for a lightweight, self-contained monitor that also functions as a compact PA will appreciate this model.

Standout Features of the Eurolive B205D

Distinctive in its class, the monitor combines a custom-designed 5.25" neodymium full-range driver with a fully integrated 3-channel mixer featuring switchable 48V phantom power. Channel 1 offers an instrument-ready input for passive electric guitar or bass without a DI box, while Channel 3 supports stereo RCA sources—ideal for backing tracks and media players.

Power and Driver — Class-D Punch in a 3 kg Box

With its Class-D amplifier topology and internal switch-mode power supply, the B205D produces 150W of clean power and maintains a light enclosure suitable for mounting on standard mic stands. The specially engineered 5.25" neodymium driver covers the full frequency range, while an integrated limiter protects against clipping at high volumes.

• Amplifier Power: 150 W Class-D — offers clean headroom for vocal and keyboard monitoring at typical stage levels
• The single-cone 5.25" neodymium driver is optimized for this enclosure, ensuring accurate sound reproduction for performers.
• Maximum SPL: 112 dB peak — delivers enough volume to be heard in a small live mix

Mixer and Connectivity — Three Channels Onboard

Carrying a separate desk becomes unnecessary thanks to the built-in 3-channel mixer. Two front-panel XLR-1/4" combo inputs accommodate microphones or line-level instruments, a rear-panel Main In connects to larger mixers, and stereo RCA inputs handle playback from phones, tablets or media players. The 3-band EQ (100 Hz / 2.5 kHz / 12 kHz) allows tone shaping without external processors.

• Microphone Input: Yes (XLR combo with phantom power) — compatible with both dynamic and condenser microphones
• Instrumentalists can connect passive guitars or basses directly using the switchable Hi-Z input on Channel 1.
• Outputs: XLR Thru with mic/line switch — daisy-chain multiple B205D units across a stage

Form Factor and Mounting — Designed for Mic Stand or Floor

The impact-resistant molded plastic enclosure includes a top carry handle for easy transport between rehearsal, stage and home studio. The mic-stand integration system positions the monitor at ear height for keyboardists and choir sections, freeing up floor space for performers.

• Weight: 3.2 kg — light enough for stable mounting on a standard mic stand
• Its compact dimensions of 18.5 × 29.0 × 22.0 cm (H × W × D) allow placement on a desk, amp shelf or as a stage wedge.
• Frequency Range: 105 Hz – 10 kHz — tuned for vocal clarity and keyboard monitoring

Who Is the Behringer Eurolive B205D For?

This model fits solo vocalists, singer-songwriters, keyboard players, drummers with electronic pads, choir sections and small-ensemble performers needing a personal monitor without a full PA. It also supports press conferences, multimedia presentations and home studio monitoring where a compact powered speaker with onboard mixing is more practical than a separate interface and monitors.
