How to use the set?
How to use the set?
- Prepare a tea candle on a safe surface (for example, a glass mat) and light it.
- Place the stand with the spoon over the candle, put 2-4 wax granules in it. Wait for the heat of the candle to melt the wax completely, approximately 1 minute. Do not leave the wax over the flame for too long, if the wax already has bubbles, the resulting seal will not be smooth.
- Pour the liquid wax onto your project with the tip of the spoon, while pouring, swirl the spoon so that the wax creates a round seal. Gently press the metal seal into it and leave it there for about 15 seconds. Carefully release the seal and let the seal harden completely. It takes 1-2 minutes (sometimes longer) for the wax to harden, depending on the type of wax, ambient temperature and type of pad.
- Wipe the rest of the wax from the spoon with a paper towel, as soon as possible, because it hardens quickly. We recommend folding the towel into quarters and being extra careful.
