PSR-SX720+ is a professional keyboard with 61 touch-sensitive keys, 128-voice polyphony and a library of 1,587 Voices, designed for expressive live performance across any musical genre. The Super Articulation Plus (S.Art+) engine reproduces the subtle expressive characteristics of acoustic instruments — including bow pressure changes on strings, breath nuances on winds and finger slides on guitar — bringing authentic emotional depth to every performance. The newly added Crossfade Portamento creates smooth, natural pitch glides between notes, while Style Dynamics Control allows real-time adjustment of the energy and intensity of any of the 575 onboard Styles.

Styles and Accompaniment

The 575 preset Styles span a wide range of genres including pop, rock, jazz, Latin and world music. Eight assignable panel buttons and six customisable home screen shortcuts provide fast access to the most frequently needed functions, while two Live Control knobs enable hands-on, real-time parameter adjustments without interrupting the performance flow.

Effects and Vocal Harmony

The comprehensive effects suite includes Reverb, Chorus, DSP, Insertion Effect, Master Compressor, 8-band Master EQ with Peak/Dip and Shelving options, Part EQ and dedicated Mic/Guitar Effects. The Vocal Harmony function processes microphone input in real time, adding harmonised backing vocals precisely tuned to the chord being played — making PSR-SX720+ a complete tool for solo performers seeking a full-band sound.

Display and Interface

A 7-inch colour touchscreen (800 × 480 px) provides intuitive navigation through Voices, Styles and settings. The user-friendly interface is complemented by clearly laid-out panel controls for quick access during live use.

PSR-SX720+ offers stereo main outputs (L/L+R, R), dual sub/aux outputs, a headphone output, a microphone/guitar input, a stereo mini jack line input, MIDI In/Out, USB To Host and USB To Device ports, and Bluetooth Audio for wireless streaming. Internal memory of approximately 4 GB stores user content, and the instrument is compatible with SMF (Format 0 & 1) and XF file formats. It measures 1,017 × 431 × 139 mm and weighs 11.6 kg.
