Double pedal for bass drum that features TAMA’s Cobra coil with a special steel spring that solves the problem of sluggish and heavy beater stroke action and quickly returns the footboard to the original position, for a smooth playing feel. It can be also adjusted to different positions on the footboard base plate for greater versatility. The pedal also features double-chained offset Power Glide cam which increases the power and speed as the beater reaches the end of stroke, providing faster footwork and more velocity on each beat. It is further equipped with the Vari-Pitch beater holder for better beater angle adjustments, completely independent of the footboard angle, and the on-board Speedo-Ring that allows for adjusting the angle of the footboard link. Other features include the Cobra Pedal Housing with nylon insulators for centred bearing support, oiled Bearing Hinge that delivers less friction than a standard ball bearing, the Iron Cobra Beater which adjusts beater head angle to guarantee a flat hit to the drum, the Para-Clamp II which keeps the pedal flat on the floor, the Tight Lock that keeps the beater shaft in place or the Quick-Hook that allows for rapid spring attachment and reattachment. A carrying case is included for secure transport.
