12-string electro-acoustic guitar with dreadnought body shape that is handcrafted in Takamine’s Pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. Dreadnought is the most popular body shape of the past half century and delivers a strong low end with plenty of volume. The versatility of this guitar begins with its solid cedar top that can play sweet mellow passages or power chords with equal ability. The laminated maple back and sides are a perfect reflector for the tone generated by the soundboard, while the gloss black finish looks great under the stage lights. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional, ultra strong dovetail joint and fitted with a rosewood fingerboard. Nut width is 46.35 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Takamine’s CT4B II preamp system paired with the unique Palathetic under-saddle pickup for peerless amplified response. This highly acclaimed preamp system features a three-band EQ, volume control and built-in tuner.
