Pasadena FSM01SR Sun Red Mandoliin

FSM01SR is an 8-string A-style mandolin with a mahogany body. Mahogany construction delivers a warm, stable tone with rich resonance that improves over time, offering greater durability than instruments built from softer tonewoods.

Mahogany Body

The body is crafted from mahogany, a tonewood prized for its warm mid-range character and structural stability. Mahogany provides longer-lasting performance than basswood alternatives and develops a richer tone with continued playing.

Rich Warm Sound

The mahogany back and sides with maple top contribute to a full, warm tone with good projection and even response across all strings. The resonant quality makes it suitable for folk, bluegrass, classical and traditional music styles.

A-Style Design

The classic A-style body shape is lightweight and ergonomic, making FSM01SR comfortable to hold and play for extended periods. The teardrop silhouette is the traditional choice for mandolin players across genres.

8-String Configuration

Like all mandolins, FSM01SR is strung in four pairs (courses) of strings, which gives the instrument its characteristic bright, shimmering tone with natural double-string sustain.
