Meinl SCP100AWA Snarecraft Wood-Cajon

Cajon from Snarecraft Professional series that combines articulate rhythmic punctuation with a warm tonal quality to give players a focused sound and wide dynamic range. Its resonating body is made of 9 plies (12 mm) of Baltic birch wood (Betula pendula) and responds with a punchy low end thud and crisp slap tones. The highly expressive snare sounds come from adjustable snares that can be dialled-in with the knob located on the side. Turning the knob changes the amount of pressure the snares have, altering their sensitivity and they may also be turned completely off. Rounded corners on the playing surface offer total comfort while maximizing the player’s touch. The cajon also features an American white ash front plate, rubber feet and rear sound port.
