The kit is designed for children over 6 years of age. Telescope is a refractor that uses lenses to gather and focus light. Its 50-mm objective lens allows for both astronomical and terrestrial observing. The telescope comes with two eyepieces. The H12.5 mm eyepiece (50x) is used for observing astronomical objects such as the Moon and Solar System planets. 18-mm erecting eyepiece (35x) helps you get direct (not inverted and not mirrored) images of observed objects. Microscope is designed for observing transparent samples. The kit includes three eyepieces producing 75x, 300x, and 900x magnifications. Convenient revolving nosepiece allows for quick magnification switch.
