Alpine Volksmusik 2 is a virtual instrument sample library delivering Swiss folk, Austrian Stubenmusik and German marching music into any DAW. Inside the library sit 42 unique patches covering traditional alpine instrumentation, from Schwyzerörgeli and Appenzell dulcimer to alphorn ensembles, zither, Styrian harmonicas, brass, woodwinds and percussion. Every instrument was recorded with multiple articulations, accessible via keyswitches for expressive performances. Everything runs in the Best Service Engine Player as a plug-in or standalone.

Created in cooperation with V3SOUND, the library covers three regional traditions in one place. Swiss folk is represented by two Schwyzerörgeli and a five-course Appenzell dulcimer, Austrian Stubenmusik by zither, harp and Styrian harmonicas, and German marching music by solo and ensemble clarinet, trumpet, flugelhorn, tenor horn and tuba. The interface exposes volume, pan and reverb alongside dedicated parameters per patch, so each instrument can be shaped to fit the mix.
