The idea of creation four-string domra came to Gregory Lubimov in 1908 and master Segrey Burov tryied to create such interesting domra with GDAE tuning (like the mandolin or the violin).
Now  three-string domra is popular in Russia and broad, many concert and chamber compositions has written for it.
Three-string domra is a rare instrument. Until recently, the four-string domra could be ordered only at the private master or could be found in antique shop.
The last 2-3 years a growing interest has led to a revival of the instrument. Picking up old drawings and artists notes, we bring you the almost forgotten instrument. Beautiful, correct form, delicate violin head, carefully chosen materials - this is the basis of rich sounding our domra.
