Behringer 0715-AAU86-001 MIDI kontroller

Behringer JAM — 32-Key MIDI Controller with Built-In Sequencer

The Behringer JAM is a 32-key USB MIDI controller keyboard built for producers who need sequencing power in a portable package. Thirty-two velocity- and aftertouch-sensitive mini keys deliver expressive playing in a chassis that fits in a backpack. This controller is the right choice for musicians who sketch ideas on the go and route them into modular synths, drum machines or a DAW.

Sequencer, Arpeggiator and Chord Modes in One Box

What sets this controller apart is the depth of its on-board pattern engine. A 64-step sequencer with 8-note polyphony handles rests, ties and legato entry, while an 8-mode arpeggiator runs up to 8 notes per step. Chord Play stacks up to 16-note voicings for cinematic pads.

Keys and Playing Feel

The keybed is tuned for expressive performance, not just note entry.

• Keys Number: 32 mini keys — enough range for two-handed playing in a footprint that travels easily
• Keyboard Type: Touch Sensitive with Aftertouch — velocity shapes dynamics, aftertouch opens continuous modulation
• Pitch Bend: Yes (touch strip) — slide between pitches with real-time visualization

Sequencer and Pattern Engine

The on-board sequencer generates patterns on its own.

• Sequencer: 64 steps, 8-note polyphony — long enough for evolving arrangements, polyphonic enough for chords
• Arpeggiator: 8 modes, up to 8 notes per step — from classic up-down sweeps to random sequences
• Chord Play Mode: Up to 16-note stacks — trigger wide harmonic voicings from a single key

Connectivity and Real-Time Controls

Every studio connection is covered, from class-compliant USB to analog CV/Gate.

• Outputs: Gate OUT, MIDI OUT — drive analog synths and 5-pin MIDI hardware
• Inputs: Footswitch input — hands-free sustain or pattern switching via optional pedal
• USB MIDI: Class-compliant USB to host — plug into any computer or tablet, no drivers needed
• Controls: Hold, Play, Rec, Shift, Stop plus four assignable encoders — transport at your fingertips
