Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters are an acclaimed American rock band formed in Seattle in 1994 by Dave Grohl, following the end of Nirvana. Grohl began the project on his own, recording the band's debut album almost entirely by himself before expanding the lineup. Today, the group features Grohl, bassist Nate Mendel, guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett, and keyboardist Rami Jaffee. Known for their blend of powerful rock anthems and melodic songs, Foo Fighters have released a string of successful albums, including The Colour and the Shape, One by One, Wasting Light, and Medicine at Midnight. The band has seen several member changes over the years, with past key members including Taylor Hawkins and Josh Freese on drums.
