The supercardioid polar pattern effectively rejects off-axis sound such as stage monitors, and neighbourhood sound sources to prevent crosstalk and feedback. A fine-tuned shock mount within the microphone also greatly reduced mechanical vibration and stage noises, while the anti-bucking coil rejects power line interference.
