Imbibaphones is a unique virtual instrument library that reimagines the classic musical wine glass. Instead of using just wine goblets, this library also samples tuned percussion and resonant sustains from a martini glass, champagne flute, and even a broken glass. Natural sustaining finger-rubbed notes and soft mallet strikes were captured for each type of glass. Additionally, a variety of effects were applied to create atmospheres, pads, and effects.

The Kontakt interface includes a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls for complete creative flexibility, including controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch, articulation switching, cross-fading, and layering. An adaptable LFO system, customizable arpeggiator, and modular FX rack panel are also included.

This library is designed for the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later. It is not compatible with the free KONTAKT Player and requires Windows 7 or higher or macOS 10.9 or higher.
