The Cylindrum is a massive tuned percussion instrument designed using the principle of open and closed air column resonance. Created by Gregg Stephens, this unique instrument spans 20 feet in length and offers a pitch range spanning a full four octaves. The instrument sounds like a hybrid between an organic synthesizer and tuned tom toms, making it a versatile addition to any sound library.

The Kontakt interface includes automation-ready sound-shaping controls for complete creative flexibility, including controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch, articulation switching, cross-fading, and layering. An adaptable LFO system, customizable arpeggiator, and modular FX rack panel are also included.

This library is designed for the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later. It is not compatible with the free KONTAKT Player and requires Windows 7 or higher or macOS 10.12 or higher.
