PROEL S12A Active Subwoofer — Compact HBP Low-End for Mobile PA

The PROEL S12A is a 305 mm (12") active subwoofer from PROEL's S Series, built to extend the low end of compact PA systems. Its Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) enclosure couples the tuning ducts more efficiently with the surrounding air than a direct-radiating design, lowering distortion for cleaner, more controlled bass. At 19 kg, this model is light enough for one-person transport yet still reaches 127 dB of maximum SPL — enough headroom for small-to-mid venues, mobile DJs, and live bands.

Hybrid Band Pass Cabinet and Class D SMPS Amplification

The HBP cabinet uses tuned ducts that improve acoustic coupling with the room, tightening low-end articulation compared with standard bass-reflex designs. A Class D amplifier module with Switch Mode Power Supply delivers 600 W continuous (1,200 W peak) from a compact chassis, while a stereo preamp, 24 dB/oct crossover filters, and a phase reverse switch give precise system tuning on the fly.
