The rugged FIBRE-150M multimode optical cable provides bidirectional data connection in a single 150 meter cable and is equipped with Neutrik opticCON DUO connectors for high reliability, especially desirable in concert tours and festival applications where the optical connection needs to be protected from dirt and dust. When used in conjunction with MIDAS and KLARK TEKNIK products equipped with optical snake interfaces, the FIBRE-150M cable can transmit 192 bidirectional channels of 24-bit digital audio at a sampling frequency of 96 kHz.

The opticCON DUO cable connector contains a standard optical LC-Duplex connector in a durable all-metal housing with protective rubber coating. It is equipped with a spring-loaded push-pull locking mechanism and the optical connection is protected by a lockable metal lock with an integrated O-ring. FIBER-150M meets the IP65 standard for environmental protection, when mounted on opposite chassis connectors.

The 2M double-fiber multimode optical cable has a nominal diameter of 5.4 mm and contains two optical fibers with a diameter of 900 μm with a hard elastomeric and acrylate coating and a core diameter of 50 μm. Aramid yarn is used for internal stress relief and the UL94HB rated flame retardant polyurethane sheath provides overall protection. The FIBER-150M cable is supplied on a Schill GT310 drum with a rubberized frame and an integrated handle for easy transport, installation and rewinding.
