Meinl PL-SET Samba instrument

The Plenera is a traditional percussion drum originating from Puerto Rico. The frames are made of durable plastic. The heads are made of hand-selected goat leather. The Plenera Set has the feel and size of authentic folkloric plenera drums with the advantages of modern materials. Three sizes are available, 8" quinto (for solos), 10" Seguidor and 12" Tumbador (for rhythm).
