Meinl PADJ2-S-G Traveler Kenyan Quilt 8" Džembe

Ultra-lightweight rope-tuned 8” djembe from Travel series with patented synthetic construction that makes it a great drum for everyone from professional musicians to recreational players. It is 20% lighter than fiberglass djembes and can be easily carried around. The djembe features a hand selected goat skin head that produces the traditional slaps and warm bass tones found in traditional African drums and provides an authentic feel; a 4mm thick pre-stretched HTP nylon rope with 20 runners that holds the tuning in place; and a non-slip rubber bottom that protects the drum from scratches.
