Ultra-lightweight rope-tuned 12” djembe from Travel series with patented synthetic construction that makes it a great drum for everyone from professional musicians to recreational players. It is 20% lighter than fiberglass djembes and can be easily carried around. The instrument features a hand selected goat skin head with diameter of 12” that produces the traditional slaps and warm bass tones found in African music and provides an authentic feel. It is equipped with a 4 mm thick pre-stretched HTP nylon rope with 30 runners that holds the tuning in place, and non-slip rubber bottom that protects the drum from scratches. Height: 609.6 mm.
