Mizhar from Artisan Edition – an ancient instrument originally from Syria that provides harmonic and rhythmic foundation to the ensemble. Its head is made using the highest grade hand selected goat hide available – selected for uniform thickness to give consistent warm tone and response. This drum features a special bearing edge exclusively designed by Norbert Eckermann (patent pending) and made of Siam oak, ensuring deep drums and crisp taks (teks). Other features include an internal tuning system, a thumb hole grip and a hot-branded logo inside of the shell. An Allen wrench is included. Dimensions: 22” x 4” (559 x 101.6 mm).
