The new microKORG retains signature features such as its practical form, an easy-to-use mini keyboard, a large rotary knob for genre selection, and a vocoder with a dedicated microphone, while offering a completely reworked, versatile sound engine with significantly more programs and a visually appealing interface. The updated bank and category selection system organizes sounds into “Classical,” “Modern,” and “Future” groups, along with a user bank offering 64 memory slots for custom creations.

Enhanced Voice Processing
The original microKORG was renowned for its user-friendly vocoder and microphone. Now, the new microKORG advances this concept with a powerful voice processor that delivers not only classic vocoder effects but also hard-tuning and harmonizer functions – including hall, delay, and other effects. A built-in loop recorder is ideal for spontaneous jamming in the studio, during rehearsals, or on stage.

Utilize the loop recorder and arpeggiator to build expansive soundscapes and explore new sonic territories. This virtual analog synthesizer emulates analog circuits without physical limitations, allowing you to create custom sounds limited only by your imagination.

While retaining the classic form – including the signature control surface with green markings and distinctive knobs – the new microKORG now features a brilliant 2.8" color LCD display for intuitive editing and precise feedback. Despite its compact dimensions, the new microKORG is highly portable, measuring only 54.2 cm wide and weighing 2.1 kg (without batteries and microphone). It can be powered via the included AC adapter or with six AA batteries, making it versatile for use anywhere.

The microKORG comes with a selection of music software, including iZotope’s Ozone Elements for AI-assisted mastering, a trial subscription to Skoove piano teaching software, and additional software instruments from KORG and other manufacturers.
