Jackson JS Series JS22-7 Dinky AH Satin Black 7-keelne elektrikitarr

Extended-Range Seven-String Electric Guitar for Metal Players

The Jackson JS22-7 Dinky 7-string electric guitar is built for players stepping into extended-range territory without a premium price tag. This model pairs a lightweight body with a satin Black finish and all-black hardware for a stage-ready look. The 673 mm (26.5") scale length keeps low tunings tight and articulate, ideal for drop tunings and djent riffing. A bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint delivers rock-solid stability. This seven-string is a genuine entry point into extended-range guitars for rock and metal players.

What Sets This Seven-String Apart

What makes this model stand out in the budget seven-string segment is Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard and direct-mount humbucker configuration. The 12"-16" compound radius (304.8 mm to 406.4 mm) gradually flattens from the nut to the heel, supporting comfortable chording and effortless bending. Dual Jackson high-output 7-string humbucking pickups are voiced for full, rich tone with maximum overdrive and sustain. The compensated string-through-body HT7 hardtail bridge transfers string energy directly into the body for improved resonance.

Body Design and Build Quality

The body construction prioritizes lightweight comfort for long playing sessions and stage use.

• Body Material: Basswood — keeps the guitar light on the shoulder for long sets
• Body Finish: Satin Black — non-reflective surface that feels smooth under the forearm and won't glare under stage lights
• Body Shape: Dinky with arched top — compact Superstrat silhouette with contoured horns for easy upper-fret access

Neck Profile and Playing Surface

The neck and fingerboard are engineered for speed and comfort across all 24 frets.

• Neck Material: Maple with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint — resists warping under seven-string tension
• Fingerboard Material: Amaranth — dense and smooth under the fingers
• Fingerboard Radius: 12"-16" compound (304.8 mm to 406.4 mm) — rounded at the nut, flattened at the heel for bending
• Scale Length: 673 mm (26.5") — keeps the low B string tight in drop tunings

Pickups, Controls, and Hardware

The electronics and hardware are configured for straightforward, high-gain performance.

• Pickup Configuration: HH — dual Jackson high-output 7-string humbuckers
• Controls: Master volume, master tone, 3-way blade switch — routes bridge, neck, or both pickups
• Bridge: Jackson HT7 string-through-body hardtail — compensated saddles for accurate intonation
• Tuning Machines: Jackson sealed die-cast
