Acrylic fibre is widely used for the production of textiles of all kinds: clothing, upholstery, carpets and, of course, yarn. Acrylic is strong, light, warm, soft and flexible, making it very popular. However, it tends to form clumps. The same fine surface fibers that give the yarn its softness clump and tangle and make clothes look worn. This fibre is specially formulated to prevent this. And if clumps do form, they are easily removed in the washing machine. Anti-pilling yarns last up to 350 washes with minimal clumps formation.
