The DOD 250 Overdrive True Bypass Preamp Pedal is a modern reissue of the analog overdrive conceived by David Oreste Defrancesco in the 1970s. The current production uses the same LM741 op-amp as the original, paired with silicon clipping diodes for harder-edged breakup than germanium designs. This reissue gives players a two-knob analog drive covering subtle grit, clean boost, and saturated lead tones.
