Crowded House

Crowded House

Crowded House is an Australian-New Zealand rock band formed in Melbourne in 1985 by Neil Finn, Paul Hester, and Nick Seymour. Known for their melodic songwriting and rich harmonies, the group found early success with hits like "Don't Dream It's Over" and "Something So Strong." Their albums Woodface and Together Alone brought further international acclaim in the 1990s, producing well-known tracks such as "Weather with You" and "Fall at Your Feet." Over the years, the band has featured various members, including Neil Finn’s brother Tim, Finn's sons Liam and Elroy, Mark Hart, Matt Sherrod, and Mitchell Froom, with Neil Finn and Nick Seymour remaining constant. Crowded House disbanded in 1996 but later re-formed, continuing to release new music, including their 2024 album Gravity Stairs. The band has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2016.
