Boss DD-8 Digital Delay — 11 Modes, Stereo I/O, Built-In Looper

The Boss DD-8 Digital Delay is BOSS's most wide-ranging compact delay pedal, delivering more sounds, more delay time, more control options, and more connectivity than any previous BOSS compact-series delay. Eleven versatile modes span basic digital repeats, vintage analog and tape echoes, modulation, shimmer, reverse, and glitchy rhythmic textures, plus a 40-second looper with overdub. The DD-8 slides easily into any mono or stereo rig and runs on either a 9V battery or an optional PSA-series adaptor.

Standout Features: Smart I/O, Warp, GLT, and Twist

Three newly developed delay types — Warm, +RV (delay+reverb), and GLT (rhythmic glitch) — sit alongside classic BOSS modes. Smart I/O jacks support mono, stereo, wet/dry, and wet-only connections, with the dry signal defeatable for parallel effects-loop blending. The unique Twist function, available in every delay mode via an external footswitch, delivers soaring echo flourishes on demand.

Delay Engine — Modes, Time, and Tap Tempo

The MODE knob selects between eleven delay types, while TIME, FEEDBACK, and E.LEVEL knobs shape repeats in real time. Tap tempo is built into the onboard pedal switch, and up to 10 seconds of delay time is available across the modes.
