What Makes the CEB-3 Different From a Guitar Chorus

The defining feature is the Low Filter knob, which controls how far down into the bass register the modulation reaches. Guitar-oriented chorus pedals tend to swallow low-end content; the split-frequency circuit of this model solves that at the design level.
