VAR CGV Gas Cartridge 220 g Gas Canister

VAR CGV 220 is a gas cartridge made of thin steel sheet with increased durability, allowing the filling of a mixture of 30:70 propane and butane. This mixture generates sufficient pressure even at temperatures below freezing point. Its shape, size, and especially the used mixture enable the operation of a stove even in demanding conditions

Instructions

  • Protect from direct sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 50°C. Store in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool environment out of the reach of children and ignition sources. Do not allow children to handle the cartridge in any way! Empty cartridges must not be refilled, punctured, or thrown into a fire.

Disposal

  • Dispose of completely empty gas cartridges in metal waste collection points. An empty gas cartridge is essentially a higher-quality metal can, so you can discard it in a regular waste container, preferably a trash can. The seller of these cartridges is not obligated to take them back!!!

When using, follow the appliance's operating instructions provided.

  • Assembly - disassembly, and tank replacement should be done in an outdoor environment away from ignition sources - no smoking! If the appliance's seal is damaged, replace it. When attaching the appliance, avoid cross-threading and tighten gently.

These cartridges are manufactured according to EN 417.

  • Note: To detect the odorless propane-butane gas leakage, an odorant with a strong smell is added to it. Unfortunately, this odor can persist on the cartridge and stove for some time after a slight gas hiss when disconnecting the stove from the cartridge. A mild odor does not indicate a leaking cartridge. In case of doubt, it is advisable to moisten the valve opening of the cartridge with saliva: if no bubble forms, everything is in order. You can also check the stove's valve seal in a similar way: connect the valve part of the stove with the power control in the ''-'' position to the cartridge with the burner detached. Using saliva, create a seal at the top of the threaded opening for the burner connection. You can also drop water into this opening, but then it must be properly dried and lubricated with thread grease if possible.
