The veloce offers comfort and technology with special focus on indoor climbing. A slightly downturned shape with an extra spacy toe box is the secret to its high level of comfort.

FEATURES

UPPER

• Microfiber upper is unstitched over the toes for high-level comfort. Twin reverse Velcro straps with a high-stretch gusset allow easy entry.

SOLE

• 4 mm 1/2 sole S72 rubber, a high-grip compound that is soft and adaptable to any surface.

ACTIVE RANDING

• The DTS (Differentiated Tension System) adapts perfectly to the dynamics of the foot in motion and concentrates power to the big toe. It works in combination with the minimalist SRT system and the PAF heel construction resulting in a highly dynamic and elasticized overall tension. These systems keep the original shape of the shoe for the life of the shoe.

TECHNOLOGIES

PAF System

• PAF is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel. The aggressive tension-rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the achilles tendon and connected with softer rubber, that works like a bridge and allows full adaption to the shape of the heel. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for mid tension and 3 holes for strong tension.

DTS Tension

• DTS tension system adapts perfectly to the dynamics of the foot in motion. The Differentiated Tension System concentrates power onto the big toe without interfering on the fit in other parts of the shoe. This helps keep the foot and toe in optimal position for power transfer and precision.

M50 Rubber

• M50 Rubber is softest rubber compound offering the best levels of adaptability to the natural curves of the foot and toes. This morphing rubber compound, developed with Davos, gives a Shore A rating of 50, making it perfect for use in SRT system, toe patches and strategic positioning around the shoe upper.

S72 Rubber

• Rubber is a high friction rubber, developed and tested by SCARPA and Davos. This soft compound gives a Shore A rating of 72, making it very adaptable to any surface and providing an excellent mechanical keying effect. S72 works equally well on rock and on Indoor walls.
