The Myelin is a helmet designed for all cyclists, especially with everyday use and commuting in mind. The ability to simply deconstruct the helmet is achieved thanks to an innovative design and construction.
- The Myelin is helmet to be constructed using 50 % recycled materials. Behind the helmet's clean look hides a host of advanced technical and design details that allow it to be separated into individual pieces at the end of its life. An innovative woven fabric shell, no adhesives, and an interlocking construction where each pieces holds the others in places are just some of the features that makes the Myelin easy to deconstruct at the end of its life.
ENGINEERED TO BE DECONSTRUCTED
- Simple fasteners and the outer fabric shell ties all pieces of the Myelin together, eliminating the need for adhesives or laminates. This makes it easy to separate all the pieces of the helmet from one another at the end of its life. Simply cutting the fasteners allows anyone to deconstruct the helmet, at home, without needing special tools.
Construction
- Woven fabric shell in recycled polyester weave
- Glue free construction, the helmet's materials hold each other securely in place
- Crossover recycled polyamide straps stretch to both sides of the helmet, removing the need for anchor points, enabling disassembly
- Debossed POC logo, no extra stickers or prints
- Snap adjuster in recycled polyamide
