Folding knife from Opinel Multifunction series – Gourmets range. With its stainless steel blade, this knife is corrosion-resistant, does not require any particular maintenance and ensures excellent cutting quality. Our pocket knife dedicated to mushroom picking includes a brush made from boar bristles for removing soil as well as a curved 8 cm blade which enables easy stem cutting, with the serrated back of the blade being extremely practical for scraping and cleaning. This knife is an ideal present for mushroom lovers. Package included sheath and pencil case. Blade length: 8 cm. Handle: Our oak comes from France. It is a hard wood, very resistant, including to insects and fungi thanks to a high tannin content. It has a yellow-brown appearance, with regular veining. Safety ring: Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N° 06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety in transport).
