Fényességét sokáig megőrzi, jól tartja a hangolást, strapabíró, jó sustain. Korábban Bright Wires változatot használtam, az is tetszett, igazából nem érzek különbséget a kettő között.

Epiphone Les Paul Custom gitárhoz vásároltam. Korábban Elixírt használtam, összességében annál kiegyenlítettebb hangzásúnak érzem. A sustain mérföldekkel jobb. A húrok felülete tapintásra nem olyan sima, de kierősítve nem "nyikorognak". Zúzós metálhoz nem ajánlanám, de -nevéhez méltóan- a klasszikus vintage hangzáshoz jó választás.
